Slam Sponsor – Saranac Public House

Named for the Saranac Hotel which opened in 1901and in  2004 was converted to offices and a restaurant on the main level, the Saranac Public House has been supporting the Slam since the competition’s start. Originally the Slam hosted it’s Turn In at the Saranac Public House, and when the Audience screenings were at the Magic Lantern, people waiting for screenings enjoyed food and drink at the Saranac Public House, musical and poetry performances, the awards ceremonies and more. As the Slam has grown, the Saranac Public House still maintains it’s sponsorship as the location for the Film Turn In site, as well as offering deals to the teams as they slam over the weekend with specials on delicious meals on their menu.
